WELL 2027 · VENUE & STAY
Make a Weekend of WELL
National Olympics Memorial Youth Center (NIYE) · Yoyogi, Shibuya Ward, Tokyo · March 5–7, 2027
WELL 2027 brings our annual conference and retreat to Yoyogi, Tokyo, for three days of learning, exchange, and fellowship. Join us for the full weekend, stay for one night, or come for the day—there are several ways to take part.

The Venue
The National Olympics Memorial Youth Center (NIYE) is a large educational and training facility in Yoyogi, Shibuya Ward. Established as a legacy of the 1964 Tokyo Olympics on part of the former Olympic Village site, it has welcomed educational and cultural groups from Japan and abroad for more than sixty years.
Its extensive campus brings together spaces for learning, accommodation, dining, and informal gatherings. WELL 2027 will make use of several of these facilities throughout the three-day program.
Experience WELL Your Way
At WELL 2027, the experience extends beyond the conference program. A presentation may lead to a conversation over lunch, a workshop may introduce you to someone whose experiences are very different from your own, and an evening together may become the beginning of a lasting friendship.
There is also room to enjoy the weekend at your own pace—to explore the grounds, catch up with old friends, spend time with someone new, or simply take a quiet moment for yourself.
Whether you come to learn, contribute, reconnect, or discover something unexpected, there is no single way to experience WELL.
We hope you’ll stay for the weekend, but you’re just as welcome to join us for a single day or stay for just one night. We invite you to settle in and make this weekend your own.

INSIDE YOUR ROOM

Good to Know: NIYE is an educational and training facility rather than a conventional hotel. Rooms are private and include the essentials for a comfortable stay, but some disposable amenities normally provided by hotels, including toothbrushes and razors, are not supplied. Hair dryers are provided in D Building rooms; a limited number are available to borrow for guests staying in B Building. Additional necessities can be purchased at the Lawson convenience store in D Building.
Bringing Someone Along
WELL has reserved limited number of accommodations that may allow a spouse, partner, or family member to stay at NIYE while you attend the conference. Accompanying guests, including men, can be accommodated subject to availability, with arrangements made through WELL registration.
Why not make a Tokyo weekend of the trip? While you take part in WELL, your companion can explore the city, and you can enjoy staying together on campus.
Gather, Eat, & Connect
Some of the best conversations at WELL happen outside the formal sessions. NIYE offers several spaces where participants can eat, talk, and spend time together throughout the weekend. WELL 2027 will make use of Cafeteria Fuji, Dashi Labo Café, and the Sakura Room for meals and informal gatherings.

Sakura Room
Located on the 9th floor of D Building, the Sakura Room will be our gathering place on Friday evening. With space for approximately 40 people, a kitchen, and views across Tokyo toward Shinjuku, it provides a relaxed setting to begin the WELL weekend together.

Cafeteria Fuji
Located on the 2nd floor of the Center Building, Cafeteria Fuji is NIYE's main dining facility. WELL participants may reserve meals there through WELL 2027 registration. Advance reservations are required, so meals must be selected during registration and cannot be added on the day of the meal.

Dashi Labo Café
On Saturday evening, WELL will gather at Dashi Labo Café on the 2nd floor of the Center Building for a catered dinner. With its large windows overlooking Yoyogi Park, giving the café a distinctive setting within the NIYE campus. Dinner will be limited to approximately 50 participants, with priority given to those staying at NIYE. Reservation details will be available through WELL 2027 registration.

Conference FacILITIES & ACCESSIBILITY
Center Building — Meet & Learn

A meeting room is reserved for Friday afternoon and evening, while the larger 80-person room is reserved throughout Saturday. These arrangements will help provide continuity between sessions and reduce the need to move presentation materials and equipment.
The Center Building is also home to Cafeteria Fuji and Dashi Labo Café, both located on the second floor.
Friday Arrivals & Materials
Conference registration begins at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, ahead of accommodation check-in. WELL is planning arrangements for temporarily holding luggage and presentation materials, including items sent in advance. Details will be provided before the conference.
Accessibility
NIYE provides elevators, multipurpose toilets, and some wheelchair-accessible accommodation. Participants with mobility or accessibility requirements are encouraged to contact WELL when registering so that suitable arrangements can be explored in advance.
